January’s genre badge is fantasy, so this month we’re bringing you all fantasy books to help you with the reading prompts. Check out this blog post to get your fantasy recs!
These are the reading prompts for the Fantasy Badge. Remember, you only need to finish three out of five of these to earn the badge.
Youth Challenge Fantasy Badge Prompts (Ages 0-17)
- Read a book with the word “castle” in the title
- Read a book with a dragon on the cover
- Read a fairy tale
- Read a book with a map to an imaginary place in it
- Read while cozied up in a blanket or some comfortable jammies
Adult Challenge Fantasy Badge Prompts (Ages 18+)
- Reread a fantastical book from your childhood
- Read a book with the word “castle” in the title
- Read a book with a dragon on the cover
- Read a fairy tale retelling
- Read while cozied up in a blanket or some comfortable jammies
Even if you’re not able to get all these done in January, that’s okay–you’ll have the rest of the year to catch up if you missed out or started late.
