Pumpkin spice is so over. It’s time for gingerbread, in preparation for this year’s #GingerbreadMadness. This year, you can win bragging rights and a prize for the best decorated gingerbread house. Keep reading to find out more.

This is the third year we’ve planned our gingerbread house extravaganza and we’re upping the ante with a contest and prizes. You can enter with one of our free pre-baked gingerbread house kits (while they last) or you can bake your own. How you decorate your creation is entirely up to your imagination! 

Prizes will be awarded for the best child/family entry, tween/teen (13 to 18 years), and adult (19+ years) entry. We’ll have a special prize category for anyone ambitous enough to reproduce a downtown Ravenna landmark in gingerbread (gingerbread flagpole, anyone?).

All of your decorated houses will be displayed in the library in time for Ravenna’s Midnight Madness holiday celebration on Friday, November 29th. Voting begins at Midnight Madness and ends December 6th.
