Yes, We Still Fax Things

Have you been asked to “fax over” some forms or information?

Who faxes stuff anymore since email came along? Where do you even do that in 2024? If you’re under 25, do you even know what a fax machine is? And where am I going to find a fax machine? The answer: your library, of course.

Believe it or not, government offices, attorneys, the healthcare industry and plenty of other people use fax machines every day. It’s still a very secure way to send information. And every so often, when you least expect it, you will be told that you can’t send an email. You need to send a fax. Don’t panic, and please don’t pay a premium to send your fax. Take a deep breath and come to the library. We fax things every day.

When you send a fax at the library, your first three pages are FREE. After three pages, it’s just 50 cents per page and your confirmation page is free. Most places charge at least $1 per page. Plus, the library is open 9am to 9pm Monday through Thursday, and open on the weekends. You can send your fax with us when it’s convenient for you.

You may not ever need to send a fax again. But if you do, remember, we still fax things every day.
