This way, everyone in Ohio can have access to this great opportunity,” Alison, our Youth Services Supervisor, says. “Personally, my son and I love getting a free book in the mail every month as a fun little surprise.”

To enroll in this program, simply visit https://ohioimaginationlibrary.org/enroll. This page will ask for contact information for the sake of sending you information specific to Ohio. If you wish to forgo entering this information, you merely need to enter your county and you will be redirected to another page where you will confirm your address and complete your registration.

Reading is so important for many reasons. According to the Early Literacy Matters webpage from Ohio Governor’s Imagination Library, a child who is unable to read well is four times more likely to drop out of high school. With free resources like your local library (that’s us!) and the Ohio Governor’s Imagination Library, we can all encourage children to fall in love with reading and empower their future.

If you don’t have kids of your own, be sure to share this with a friend who does!
