ReedFest returns for its second year! Jump start your summer fun at our after-hours party at Ravenna City Park on Friday, June 2, 2023 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Read all about it in today’s blog post.
We are excited to bring you ReedFest once again in conjunction with Ravenna Parks & Recreation’s Summer Celebration. On June 2, we will be at Ravenna City Park from 5:00 to 8:00 pm celebrating the start of summer and the reading challenge. ReedFest and the Summer Celebration are completely free (with the exception of concessions from food trucks).
The event will have something for all ages, including games, crafts, activities, a collaborative art project, and more! We’ll be filling the park with tons of fun with help from our friends at Portage Park District, Kent Parks and Recreation Department, and Brimfield Township Parks and Recreation.
We’re bringing a Kona Ice Truck and the first 100 kids will receive a ticket for free shaved ice. Ask us about the tickets once you’ve arrived!
At ReedFest, there will also be a special prize drawing for attendees who pre-register for the summer reading challenge on Beanstack. The prize for the drawing includes a library canvas bag, some books, and other goodies. Make sure to ask about entering the drawing at ReedFest.
Parks and Recreation will offer face tattoos, archery on the tennis courts, the ga-ga ball pit, bubble soccer, and inflatable houses. Each community partner will have their own activities and games, so there will be plenty of fun options for all.
Check out the event listing for ReedFest on our calendar or respond to the Facebook event so you receive a reminder about it.
Last year, ReedFest was an awesome time, and we are looking forward to going even bigger and better this year. We hope to see you there!
