We love books, too, which is why we are running our year-long Bookworm Challenge! If you haven’t heard of our Bookworm Challenge, learn all about it here and sign up on Beanstack.

Each month this year we are spotlighting a different genre. February’s featured genre is romance, so we’ are bringing you’ve compiled a list of lovey books for all ages that will delight your sweet spot for reading and fulfill Bookworm Challenge prompts!

These are the reading prompts for the Romance Badge. Remember, you only need to finish three out of five of these to earn the badge.

Youth Challenge Romance Badge Prompts (Ages 0-17)

  • Read a book with a heart on the cover
  • Read a book that someone you love recommended to you
  • Read a book with the word “love” in the title
  • Read a book about friendship or friends
  • Read a book with a letter or love letter in it

Adult Challenge Romance Badge Prompts (Ages 18+)

  • Read a paperback book
  • Read a book with a pun in the title
  • Judge a book by its cover and start reading it without knowing anything about the story (love at first sight?)
  • Read a book with the word “love” in the title
  • Read a romance book with your favorite trope (e.g., enemies-to-lovers, fake dating, workplace romance, friends-to-lovers, second chance romance, etc.)

Even if you’re not able to get all these done in February, that’s okay–you’ll have the rest of the year to catch up if you missed out or started late.
