Earlier this month, Cornelius checked out a book, ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas, and a movie, Miracle on 34th Street (he’s very sentimental). He is very busy, getting cookies baked and the house decorated before Cora visits on Christmas Day. Cornelius is so busy that he hasn’t had time to read his book or watch his movie. He checks the due date on his library receipt: December 24th!! Now he’s really stressed that his book and movie are due on Christmas Eve. He’s not sure he has time to return them but he really, really doesn’t want them to be late. What should he do?
