Thanks for a great summer of reading!

Now that August is here, it is time for our Oceans of Possibilities summer reading challenge to sail off into the sunset. We would like to thank each and every one of you who participated this summer! It has been an incredible eight weeks of reading, activities, and celebration of community. When we all come together, there is truly an ocean’s worth of possibilities.

Altogether, we had 468 summer reading participants with a total of 399,932 minutes read. Wow!

The young adult graphic novels will now be available in the Teen Room, and the adult graphic novels have moved upstairs to the left. Give Back to the Community by Becoming a Friend of the Library

If you’ve ever been to our library book sale, enjoyed the refillable water bottle station, or recently brought in a young one to play with our new children’s toys, then you can thank the Friends of the Library.

The Friends of the Library is a group of community members who support the library by volunteering their time and talent. The more, the merrier! The Friends are seeking more friends to join their organization, particularly those who are interested in being active within the group.
